Sedgeford Village Hall is situated on the recreation ground in Jarvie Close, off the Ringstead Road
Various events and activities take place there on a regular basis, including bowls, adult education classes, quiz nights, concerts and dances. Several organisations use the hall for meetings, among them the Womens Friendship Group, NADFAS, the British Legion and the Parish Council.
Both the main hall and the smaller meeting room can be booked for meetings and private functions. The main hall, which contains a stage, has a seating capacity of up to 120. The smaller meeting room can seat 15-20.
There is also a small, modern kitchen, containing oven, fridge, crockery and cutlery with a serving hatch to the main hall.
The disabled facilities are first class and an induction loop system has recently been fitted. There is parking for about 50 cars. A patio area just outside the hall leads onto the playing field.
The Hall was opened in September 2000, after several years of planning and fund-raising. This Hall was supported by grants from: The Countryside Agency, Kings Lynn and West Norfolk Borough Council, National Lottery Charities Board, Norfolk Rural Community Council and Sedgeford Parish Council. Many others, including local firms, organisations and individuals, also contributed.
